Una de las mayores casas de intercambios de criptomonedas, Bittrex, anunció últimamente que suprimirá ochenta y dos tokens de su plataforma a fines de este mes de marzo de 2018 , para poder asegurar que sus usuarios tengan acceso a criptomonedas que cumplan con sus rigurosos criterios de listado. Ciertos tokens que se retiran de la lista tienen poca liquidez, al paso que otros no tienen una cadena de bloques funcional.
La casa de cambio con sede en los U.S.A. anunció últimamente el movimiento, al paso que advirtió que los tokens se suprimirán de su plataforma el 30 de marzo. Esto quiere decir que los usuarios deben apresurarse en retirar sus tokens para entonces, puesto que las monedas no se van a poder intercambiar unavez se hayan suprimido.
Conforme lo informado por Bittrex, los usuarios no van a poder retirar ciertas de estas ochenta y dos criptomonedas, debido a que tienen inconvenientes en el código de la blockchain, algo que impide que las transacciones sean seguras. Asimismo han señalado que, si no pueden retirar los tokens, no se debe a la propia exchange, sino se debería a un inconveniente latente a la blockchain de la criptomoneda.
A inicios de este mes de marzo , la SEC pidió a las casas de intercambios de criptomonedas que deben anular la lista de tokens ICO o bien darse de alta en la agencia para seguir brindando soporte para los tokens. Para los intercambios de criptomonedas con base en EE. UU. como Bittrex, es obligatorio darse de alta en la SEC ya antes de procesar operaciones que impliquen tokens.
Durante los próximos meses, muchos intercambios esenciales se sumaran a la medida tomado por Bittrex y suprimirán las pequeñas criptomonedas que son propensas a actividades como los pump and dump, o bien manipulación del mercado.
