Rudar Velenje es un equipo esloveno capaz de sorprender a propios y extraños. Si bien es cierto que es un equipo que tuvo bastante suerte al tener como rival, en la anterior ronda, al debilísimo Tre Fiori de San Marino (completando la eliminatoria por un globla de 10-0) si es cierto que cuando se ha enfrentado a un equipo de “nivel” en su liga doméstica, como es el Maribor, perdió por 0-5. Debemos tener en cuenta, igualmente, que el modesto estadio del Rudar, con capacidad solo para 5.000 personas y con pistas de atletismo , no lo hace como un lugar adecuado para notar la presión del publico. Pensamos que el equipo rumano del Steaua, otro equipo como otros tantos que ha bajado bastante de nivel en los últimos años, no debería tener poblemas para conseguir una victoria que solvente , a grandes rasgos, esta eliminatoria.

Hapoel Haifa representa a toda una generación de buenos equipos israelitas que poco a poco han ido creciendo , lenta pero de forma segura. La liga de Israel aun no ha comenzado pero llevan un tiempo bastante prudencial de preparación ya que las eliminatorias de la UEFA estaban cerca. Digamos que el Hapoel es un equipo tosco, muy físico y de pocos goles pero con resultados muy efectivos, sobre todo en su liga doméstica. La pretemporada la están realizando en Bélgica donde han perdido dos partidos y empatado uno, dejando bastante dudas ante equipos de su nivel o algo mayores. Sin embargo juegan en casa y se enfrentan a un modesto equipo islandés del Hafnarfjordur que tiene mucho más físico que los de Israel porque su campeonato está llegando a la mitad del curso. Los partidos en casa de los equipos israelíes son muy calientes , circunstancia que , a buen seguro, notarán los islandeses acostumbrados a pequeños estadios fríos y con muy poco público. Hafnarfjordur está en una liga muy menor como es la Islandesa están teniendo resultados muy modestos, siendo sextos de doce escuadras ganando 5 partidos, empatando 4 y perdiendo 4. La forma física de los islandeses hará que defiendan bien y puedan dar alguna sorpresa a la contra, aunque vemos esta posibilidad como bastante difícil, acabando nuestro analisis con la conclusión de que vencerá Hapoel pero habrá pocos goles.

Zalguiris siempre fue el UNICO equipo de la escena lituana que dominaba con claridad hasta que llegó la sorpresa ( y tan sorpresa ) de los chicos del Suduva que están haciendo una excelente temporada ( si no que le pregunten a los desdichados del Apoel de Nicosia ). La liga lituana es extremadamente debil. Si acaso solo Zalguiris y Suduva están mostrando algo de nivel en una liga “sin nivel”. Eso hace que Zalguiris sufra mucho en partidos de competiciones europeas y , en este caso, ante un FC Vaduz que milita en la Segunda División de Suiza pero va a competición europea representando a Liechtensein. No obstante la liga Suiza de Segunda División es de mucho más nivel que la primera lituania, debido, sobre todo, al pequeño numero de equipos que compone la Primera división suiza. Nuestros pronósticos :

Nuestro pronóstico está en X2 . Vemos bastante factible que el equipo suizo saque buena tajada de este primer partido de esta eliminatoria. Si bien la forma física del equipo lituano será lago mayor que la de los suizos ya que en Lituania la liga está pasando por la mitad de su vida, sin embargo en Suiza no ha hecho más que empezar.

Balzan Youths representa la modestidad la liga maltesa. Tuvieron suerte en el primer emparejamiento y aún así dieron la sorpresa venciendo al Kesla de Azerbaiyán . Aún así, como indicamos, pensamos que fue cuestión de suerte, mucha suerte, que el equipo maltés pasara la primera ronda (aún vendiendo 4-1 en casa). Slovan de Baratislava es un equipo sobrádamente conocido en la escena europea y es uno de los firmes candidatos a ocupar plaza en las rondas finales de la Europa League. Slovan está arrasando en sus ultimos 5 encuentros con sendas victorias por goleadas, pasando fácilmente la primera ronda que ha disputado de esta competición europea (venciendo al Milsani por 2-4 y 5-0).
